People often ask: ‘Which skill is right for me?’
The skill you choose depends on whether you are mostly interested in dynamic or more gentle exercise, or in health rather than self-defence. If you are unsure you can always ask or come and try the different skills.
Qigong is a gentle, healing form of exercise that is suitable for all.
Taiji Quan is a martial art that is also very good for health.
Wing Chun is a system of self-defence invented by a woman, using sensitivity, technique and footwork and is very good for dealing with a stronger opponent.
Chun Yuen Quan is a Northern Shaolin Kung Fu skill that is excellant for health. It will improve posture, flexibility, strength and coordination.
